Originally from rural Suffolk, George trained as an actor at The Guildford School of Acting from 2010 to 2013, writing music and songs for the in-house performances. Since then he has been working as an actor, voice over artist, composer and a musician on tour, at Shakespeare's Globe and on the West End.

His first composition commission, This was the World and I was King, for HookHitch Theatre, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe 2013 where it received much critical acclaim was was nominated for best score. The show was taken on a UK tour in 2015 and revived in 2016 at both the Brockley Jack and the Arts Theatre in London's West End.

His compositions for Story Pocket Theatre include A Pocketful of Grimm's a collection of Brothers Grimm fairytales which has enjoyed two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, and is currently on its second UK tour. Michael Morpurgo's King Arthur, based on the book Arthur: High King of Britain, headlined Gilded Balloon's newest venue inside the National Museum of Scotland at Edinburgh 2016, before going on tour that Autumn. Both productions are due for revivals in Spring 2017.

In a collaboration with Simon Slater, who worked on the sound design and composition, Jay Taylor's debut play Acedian Pirates at Theatre503 featured some of George's sea shanties.

Earlier this year he composed a live score for a production of Macbeth, which premiered at South Hill Park in February and is due to embark on a tour in 2018.  He composed a live and recorded score for Night Creature by Lion House Theatre for the Adelaide Fringe 2017, and a recorded score for From Dust for the Edinburgh Fringe 2017.

He is currently writing a live score for Romeo & Julietpremiering at South Hill Park in 2018, which is due to tour in 2019.

George's acting credits include; Benjamin (Open Palm Films), Nell Gwynn (West End and Shakespeare's Globe), One Man, Two Guvnor's (Jordan Productions), Knightfall (History Channel), A Christmas Carol (The Northcott Theatre and Malvern Theatres), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Windsor), and She Stoops to Conquer (UK Tour).
